OFFSITE CATERING POLICIES
STAFFING
A $30 per hour charge is applied for each staff member. The number staff for each event is determined by the
Vida Catering team and is dependent on the number of guests and type of event.
ALCOHOL
While Vida cantina is not licensed to provide alcohol for off site events, we are happy to recommend you an experienced bartender to hire for your event. Alcohol must be provided by the hosts.
DEPOSIT
A $500 deposit is required to secure your event date and will be applied to the final balance.
FINAL GUEST COUNT
Your final guest count is due 30 days prior to your event date and will be the number of guests you are charged for.
CANCELLATION
If you need to cancel your event, you must do so no less than 3 months prior to your event in order for your deposit to be returned. IF you cancel less than 3 months prior to your event, you may be required to forfeit your deposit. If you cancel your event less than 72 hours prior to your event, you may be subject to the full contract cost.

LICENSING + PERMITTING FEES
If permits or licenses are needed, a $175 fee for research and license and or permit costs will be added to the total cost of the event.
RENTALS
If Vida Cantina takes on the responsibility of sourcing any equipment rentals, there will be a 20% markup on all rental charges from a local rental company of our choosing.
TRAVEL FEES
A $100 travel fee will be applied to events more than 30 minutes away from Vida Cantina.
INSURANCE
Customer shall be responsible for obtaining proper insurance for event. Customer shall insure and hold Vendor harmless for any loss or damage to property, equipment, or other personal property belonging to Customer, their guests and visitors, and Customers shall insure and hold Vendor harmless for any loss or damage resulting in injury to Customers, their guests or invitees, within the event premises.
